Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Perfect for any person in the medical profession
This is a must-have for anyone in medical school. Up-to-date info, full of pictures, and great charts and tables.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great but navigating through the book could improve
I think this is a good buy but it needs better navigation to find certain topics within the book since this is mostly a reference on the fly while on the wards seeing patients. Otherwise I think one can manage and search patiently for the topic of interest. My suggestion is to have an area to type in topic of interest, similar to when online and different chapters pop up in which the topic is discussed.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Fauci is a junk scientist
Fauci is a very poor scientist. He lets his own political beliefs bias his medical opinions. As he has been in high positions in NIH this serves to greatly retard medical science and cause much suffering to disabled Americans. An example is his steadfast support of Stephen Straus in his disinformation campaign on ME (aka CFS). Fauci still includes the deceased Straus' inaccurate article as the section on ME in this edition.
Internist Paul Cheney, MD, PhD, the world's foremost clinican and ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Practical medicine
Excellent manual for doctors with some experience who know exactly where to search and what.I use it to compare US Medicine to the European Medicine and on a rate of the renewal of the medical information at every 5 years,Harrison`s Handbook Manual is very usefull in daily practice.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - good reference for internal medicine rotation
Since the full-size Harrison's is rather...full-sized, this book is a good reference to take with you for studying at the hospital. It has good differentials of common patient presentations and covers the basics of common diagnoses and treatment.
