i'm a paramedic student...and this is what i think. the book was good, the chapters were very well written and the other materials were great too, this book and basic arrythmias go hand in hand...you cant have one without the other, also basic pharm. is a good one to buy along with this and i would order extra cd roms if you're into cd stuff cause it's got good stuff on it...just not enough for my taste

An excellent companion to the previous volumes. Detailed illustrations and wonderful content make this a must have for all pre-hospital care providers. I love it and give it 5 stars..Brady does it again.

Although DeGowin & DeGowin is the gold standard of physical examination texts, Bledsoe provides the paramedic student with an excellent background in patient assessment. Most one-volume paramedic texts are somewhat skimpy when it comes to the topic of physical examination techniques. This book is an excellent supplement.
