I was highly disappointed. When I've purchased other guides with selected solutions they contained all the odd or even problems from the book showing how they got the answer provided in the back of the book step by step. The "selected solutions" it contains are a very small selection, for example, chapter two contained 6 out of the 85 problems presented in the book. This product was supposed to be a textbook but it was really the study guide. The description of this item was very confusing and did not make it clear that the item was in fact the study guide. Then the seller would not give me a refund.

A very decent workbook for the Giancoli trig based Physics Book. This book is quite helpful especially if you have never had physics before and need extra help understanding key concepts. Would recommend to others taking a college General Physics class. Note this is just Volume 1 and it ends with Thermodynamics.

When I bought this item I thought I would get both the first and second volume of the study guide. However, amazon shipped to me only the first volume...
I pretty much suspect that "Physics: Principles and Applications" by Boyle is the second volume because Boyle is NOT really the author of Physics: Principles and Applications; it is Giancoli who is the real author.
