Editorial Review:
Fayne Carlisle is not yet ready to assume the title of Duke of Solitea, but his father’s sudden death means that his lusty bachelor days are numbered. Is the fabled Solitea Curse to blame for this stroke of ill luck? Or is Lady Kilby Fitchwolf the poison? A violet-eyed beauty with a family scandal of her own, she has just arrived among the ton…and soon becomes the object of the Duke’s wildest fantasies. But are the rumors true? Was Fayne’s father really found dead in Lady Kilby’s very bedchambers? And if so, should that preclude the duke from keeping her company? Surely there’s no more pleasurable way to perish. But as the duke comes to know the beautiful siren, it seems she couldn’t be less interested in seducing him—and what begins for the Duke as romantic sport escalates into a do-or-die courtship that brings the two lovers dangerously close to falling in love.

Sinful Between The Sheets B Pierce # 2 Carlisle Series. This is only the 2nd book I read from Pierce and I am hooked. The 2nd story is better than the first. I loved the characters Kilby and Fayne. The story line it kept me going and the sex was up there. I will be reading the next in the series and there is one after that not out yet.
Rating: - wonderful talent!
I picked this out of my Christmas stack mainly because I am a cover freak and love the color blue. I haven't ready anything by this author, or if I read some of her earlier titles, I don't recall. But I will recall this one. Wow! My fingers were singed.
Kilby finds herself in hot water when the duke dies in her bedchamber. Fayne's doesn't believe her protests that nothing happened with his father, and is determined to find out all the answers to his father's death. However, as ... Read More
Rating: - WHAT IS ALL THE FUSS ABOUT THIS BOOK???
I missed SINFUL BETWEEN THE SHEETS as I didn't know that they were related, so I read WICKED UNDER THE COVERS first. I persevered with the book and liked the writing style of Ms. Pierce. However there were character blemishes and flaws in the storyline that didn't allow me to fall wildly in love with this novel.
I realize that there are some rave reviews here - so I will keep mine short and to the point. The narrative is good, though at times the dialogue and situations were ... Read More
Rating: - Too much, too soon
Neither lead was particularly endearing. The very silly heroine continually put herself in harm's way. The hero, Fayne, had nothing to recommend him. True, he was a duke, but other than "man-whore" he had no skills, interests nor attributes.
I also did not like the fact that the heroine, Kilby, was placed in some needlessly explicit sexual situations with men who were not the hero. I also found it odd that the writer thought moments after an attempted rape by another man was the prime time ... Read More

Sinful Between the Sheets is the second in the series. You don't have to read the first (Wicked Under the Covers) but why not it was great. Fayne Carlisle father dies and now he is the Duke of Solitea. The rumor is that his father died with his current mistress Lady Kilby Fitchwolf. Kilby is currently in London escaping her brother sexual and violent advances and trying to find out the mystery surrounding her birth. Her brother told her (after her parents died) that they did not have the same father. Fayne ... Read More
