Better than average for a math for nursing book. The reviews are clear and succinct with an ample number of practice problems--all with answers in the back. Tried and true methods are explained with the new methods, so readers may take their pick. The lack of typos shows some care was taken in making this book. In short, the math review is helpful for most folks just walking around, and the review is essential for nurses who wish to be good at what they do.

I think this edition is great in the sense of how drug calculations are to be calculated, but there are math MISTAKES throughout this book. At least in mine. It's like they pulled the #'s out of thin air. One good thing about the practice questions & answers was they do show their work in the back so you can figure out where they went wrong.
