I am in an accelerated BSN program and designing care plans for pts can take hours. This book makes it a cinch; flip to a system and the list of NANDA/NOC/NIC is endless, breaking it down for us new RN as independent or collaborative NIC's. I think this is a great resource that can be used for many years into practice.

So, I did not find this book until my last semester of nursing school (unfortunately). BUT! It helped me tremendously in that short time. I think if I had had that book from my first semester I would have been so good with nursing diagnoses and care plans. The nursing diagnosis book that was required for us was just not this detailed. I felt like my instructors weren't that great with the diagnoses/interventions/care plan part. That is brand new information, and someone needs to give hints or something ... Read More
Rating: - Nursing Care Plans
This is one of the best books on nursing plans that I have worked with. It is clear and easy to use. I like that it has plans for specific individual diagnoses and is formatted in a way that you can use it as a starting point and helps you to individualize the plan for a specific patient.
