This book is entertaining and full of adventure. It shows even a little guy, with challenges, can have the strength of character and the determination to reach his goals.

If you thought turkeys were just for holidays think again. Back in 1860 trains didn't connect the East and West United States. The only way to get any live cattle anywhere was to walk them their, even through whatever the wilderness gave them. This story involves a young boy who is a misfit to the entire town.
