Rating: - Great Seuss collection
This is my 3 y.o.'s favorite book, he calls it "the big book" and almost every night he asks for it when it's time for story-telling, even though he has a big collection of books which he loves, including many Seuss books, none can top this one.
This is a great book, it allows you to have lots of Seuss stories all gathered up even if you don't have a lot of space in your house, and it's great for traveling because you can take so many stories with you in one single volume. Plus, they ... Read More
Rating: - Your Favorite Dr. Seuss
We all love Dr. Suess and I thought this would be a great deal to get 13 stories to read to my 1 and 3 year olds for bedtime stories. The problem is that the book is too big to cuddle up with on the couch with two little ones. We returned it and bought a few of the smaller, 1 story, Dr. Suess classics.
Rating: - Great for the price!
I honestly have no problems with this book...its great!!! Its great to have Dr. Seuss back in my life now at 27...
Rating: - Changes in page layouts are disappointing.
Since this is a dozen stories, it's expected this is going to be a big book. The facts and info on each story are quite interesting and really the major selling point for this book.
The major disappointment was the change in page layout. If you compare it to the single books, the pages are just laid out differently. In a couple stories, there's a focal point in the story that is buried in the crease because the of the page changes. If they hadn't dont that, this would be an awesome book. ... Read More
Rating: - Perfect Gift -Seuss Baker's Dozen
I had a hard time giving this up as a gift. I paged thru it and remembered all the funny stories i read growing up as a kid. And there were a few that I had never seen before. When the gift was opened at the party, everyone smilled and thought out of all the toys the child received, this was the best. I agree! Also...this was way cheaper than the local bookstores. Cheaper and in perfect condition (no previously browsed book ever received by AMAZON.COM).
