`The Perfect Kiss' by Christie Rodgway is the story of Rory and Jilly and secondary story of Kim and Greg. Rory and Grey are the infamous Kincaid brothers who come from the pure Hollywood scandalous family. Rory plans to announce his adamancy for Senator when he returns home to settle the estate of his lecherous grandfather. Rating: - An enjoyable quick read
Although it doesn't have a lot of depth or substance, the humorously written story is perfect for fun escapist reading. The colorful description of the vintage clothing and Jilly's free-spirited attitude were refreshing, and there was a heartwarming child-custody situation amongst the secondary characters.

Wish you were here was SUCH a great book, I quickly purchased another from this author. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I just didn't enjoy this one at all. I didn't really feel involved with the characters and I found myself just wanting to end the book so I could read something else. I really wanted to like it, but.... it just didn't happen.

Boring and banal are the words to describe this third-rate romantic "Comedy". The characters are unconvincing and one-dimensional; Jilly the heroine is a 25(or 26?) year-old virgin, who still believes that stopping at a certain level of arousal will hurt a guy. Laughable. THIS PERFECT KISS is a perfect read for those who love witty, wonderful romance. The characters are quirky, charismatic, and just plain fun, and the situtations they find themselves in are equally fun. Further, there's a wonderful secondary plot entailing the hero's 4-year-old aunt that simply warms the heart. THIS PERFECT KISS really is a book not to be missed--a perfect Valentine's Day treat as yummy as chocolate, but not nearly as fattening!
