I FOUND THIS BOOK FAST PACED AND DIFFERENT THAN THE OTHER TWO , BUT I MUST SAY IT WAS OVER TO FAST I WANTED MORE!!!

If you liked her other SBC Fighters books, you should like this one. While Lori Foster is always a great read, this was not my favorite; the story line is too similar to the first book, but without as much action. However, I did enjoy the read and follow up with previous characters. If you're just looking to finish reading the series, it's worth the time, but if you haven't read the other two, don't start with this one.

This book did not live up to my expectations all around. I just didn't feel the connection between any of the characters. I felt like Lori just kinda said "ok now they are in love" without any of the normal buildup. I will still read the next Lori Foster book but it wont be because this one impressed me (I did love her earlier stuff). Less fighting and more romance PLEASE!

The first couple of pages "grab you." Very well done. Harley is a mixed martial arts fighter who only does one-night stands with women. I wish the author would have given the reader a little more detail about why he fell for Stasia. She had always been attracted to him, but she held back and tried not to show it, which I could understand, but it was not sincere. He gradually fell for her. After reading 'Simon Says', I was quick to pick this one up. 'Simon Says' was a great book: good primary and secondary characters, believable plot, etc... I was excited to find out what happened to Harley Handleman and Barber but this book fell very flat in telling both of their stories. After many stops and starts, I finally managed to finish the book and was left with the same ugh feeling I had when I started it.
