Rating: - Great Book
I found the text to be incredibly helpful. It was very extensive and held every bit of information I was looking for.
Rating: - do not waste your money
I don't really agree with the previous review. This book has a massive ammount of informations which the resident-surgeon has no time to grasp. Cardiac Surgery is a waste field which cannot be summarize in a single book. My advice is to : 1-Study VERY GOOD cardiology (Braunwald or Hurst). 2-Study ICU 3-Learn french and buy Techniche Chirurgicale from the master surgeons of Paris. (I'm sorry for american surgeons, but the best books for surgical techinque reside in France). Cheers
