This is my first encounter with Margaret Truman and am left wondering why she's always had such good reviews. However, from reading other reviews I'll give her 1 more chance.
However, the problems in this book were legion. Each character is defined in terms of his or her (mostly her) love life. Ms. Truman seems to have felt that page after page after page of pheromone-laced banter somehow gives us insights into characters. Margaret Truman's books have always been hard for me to put down. I've very much liked them, until now. This one has far too many characters, and is not on a par with her earlier books, as far as the plot or holding one's interest. Sort of a jumble, really.
