As Spock fights for his life in sickbay, Scotty organizes a search for Kirk and his men. However, rescue efforts must cease when the U.S.S. Enterprise™ is called away to the Beta Cabrini system where a mining colony is under heavy attack.
At Beta Cabrini, the U.S.S. Enterprise™ faces off against a Marauder named Dreen -- a man that Spock had watched his former captain Christopher Pike defeat years before. Fighting the effects of the poison, Spock struggles to his feet and takes command of the ship. Soon, Spock and Dreen are locked into a deadly game of cat and mouse -- a game driven by mad revenge that can have only one survivor!

I knocked the rating down to four stars only because ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Spock's past comes to haunt him.
Mr. Spock, the unshakable Mr. Spock. The Enterprise is on a mission to search a new planet. Spock gets attacked by this 'tree' and is quickly transported to sickbay. Kirk and some other members get stuck on the planet. Scotty is given direct orders to go to a different planet. Spock is sick, yet takes control of the Enterprise. Meanwhile the planet they are racing to is being used as slave labor to collect minerals. Spock has frequent flashbacks to his adventures on Pike's Enterprise. When they reach ... Read More
