This book has short reviews on topical subjects and has been a godsend while studying for exams. Each chapter is about 5-10 pages long and starts with some background information on the incidence and implications of the topic eg preventing perioperative renal dysfunction, perioperative hyperglcemia, optimal treatment for aspiration etc. It will then go on to assess available information on that subject.
