Mr. Tyree is losing me. What They Want and Pecking Order were both huge disappointments. My number one problem with this book is the fact that it is 400+ pages. You need to have more than sex to keep that going. My other problem is that parts of the book are drawn out to tell about situations that were not interesting to begin with. i am usually a fan of tyree's books, but this one was a complete disappointment and utterly boring. it took me almost 2 weeks to read this book because it was so boring and badly written that i had to force myself to finish it.
cons:
1)this book was wayyyy too long. there was no need for this book to be over 400 pages.
2)the storyline was too redundant. we didn't need to be introduced to 10+ different women to understand the main character's lifestyle, disrespectful attitude, womanizing ... Read More

Terrence Mitchell is a male model whose promiscuity leaves him feeling temporarily satisfied but ultimately empty. Sex can never fill the void that is left by an absent father or the emptiness that one feels when their worth is measured by how they look.
While the sexcapades of Terrence may seem extreme and unrealistic, I know men and women alike who lead very similar lives. Just because you can't relate, it doesn't mean that it does not exist.

Through the eyes of Terrence Mitchell, Omar did a great job of not only giving us a glismp of the world of modeling through the male eye, he also produce a great book from the male prospective. Having been disappointed by him in the past, I was leary of picking up another one of his books. However, by the end of the first page, I was glad I did. I could not put this book down.

This is a much different style of writing for Tyree very steamy didnt expect that. However the ending was not realistic to me. He did all this set to show basically how this guy was a dog. But then the turnaround in his life was like what 20-30 pages? That was a disappointment to me.
