Inside, you'll discover proven, effective methods for working with your teens. Over 1 million Positive Discipline books sold! "I highly recommend this book to parents, teachers, and all others who work with young people. It is one of the best books I have seen on helping adults and adolescents turn their conflict into friendship. Remarkably, it shows how to accomplish this while helping young people develop courage, confidence, responsibility, cooperation, self-respect, and trust. I urge you to read it." —H. Stephen Glenn, Ph.D., coauthor of Raising Self-Reliant Children in a Self-Indulgent World.

Book had good information. It's just that it's pretty much the same as a lot of books I've already read about this subject. I was looking for something more out of the box creative.
Rating: - extremely helpful!

It was getting scary between them. They would fight often and my son threatened to run away. I bought two copies so we could both read it before someone got hurt! It's helped to open our eyes and realize it's OK for kids to make some mistakes. This book is a must for anyone who thinks that controlling your kids every move ... Read More

Great advice and examples for parents who don't want to use corporal punishment!
Rating: - Very Helpful
I found this book very insightfull and full of information on how to deal with the changes that occur with my child becoming a teenager.
Rating: - Need help with your teen?
Whether your teen is simply refusing to clean his room, or your worried about tougher issues such as sex and drugs, this book teaches parents effective and respectful ways to deal with the whole child.
This is not a "How To" book with a lot of simple, short-term solutions. It is a basic parenting philosophy which, once understood, will permeate your decision making and way of being with your child.
