Knowing little about this type of PDA, I chose the "Dummies" aid to assist me. I've used these manuals in the past for other units. While some sections are basic and not needed, many are absolutely necessary to either understand or expand understanding of certain functions. They also allow me to return to areas that weren't needed initially, but surface at a later date. It's much easier for me to sit with the manual in front of me than to scroll through the chapter/section on a computer screen. ... Read More

I picked up a used Sony Clie NX80V which did not have a manual. While looking for manuals and software, I ran across this book. It had been a lifesaver. It covers the PDA like no manual does and is fun to read also. Even if you have a Clie with full documentation, this book is a very welcome aid to using the Clie to its full extent.

As a newbie PDA owner, I found the information in Sony Clie for Dummies both informative and essential. Well-organized and packed with lively, plain English instructions, the Sony Clie for Dummies book is much more than a manual. This book covers a little bit of everything relating to this wonderful Palm OS based handheld.
