Editorial Review:
Written with busy medical students and house officers in mind, Pharmacology Recall minimizes the time spent reading and identifying important material and maximizes the time available for actual learning. As part of Lippincott Williams & Wilkins' Recall Series, Pharmacology Recall uses the concise, two-column question-and-answer format to facilitate quick learning. Common Board questions and mnemonics appear throughout the book to facilitate memorization and illustrations are provided to clarify important concepts. A Pharmacology Power Review chapter presents a unique bird's-eye view of pharmacology and can be used to review large amounts of high-yield information quickly before medical school and USMLE exams.

Rating: - stop your search for a pharmacology review book!
Pharmacology recall is an excellent review book for the USMLE. Study it with lippincott's pharmacology or kaplan and you will see the difference.
Don't worry anymore about pharmacology..It's under control.
Rating: - Excellent for boards and wards
Wish I had this earlier during step 1 prep. Using it right now throughout 3rd year.
Rating: - Just purchased new edition

I'm a big fan of the "Recall" series so I like the book. Besides, it's cheap! I use it as an extra reading source to go along with my Kaplan.
Enjoy.
Rating: - SECOND EDITION
The previous review by M. Byrne refers to the 1ST EDITION.
The new book is completely updated with the latest drugs and pharmacological principles. It serves as a great quick review before the USMLE or medical school lectures.

Instead of reading paragraph after paragraph of explanations, I think the question-answer format is much more conducive to memorization.
Having said that, knowing the information in this book will probably only be sufficient to ... Read More
