Editorial Review: The lives of Peter Parker and everyone close to him change forever! Haunted by unsettling dreams. Disturbed by a growing sense of dread. Convinced that people are out to get him. A portrait of someone on the edge of a nervous breakdown? Nah. Simply a typical day for Peter Parker, as your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man must contend with a new and deadly opponent named Tracer, self-defense lessons with Captain America and some disturbing news that will change his life in a distinctly negative manner. This is the startling super-story that turns the wall-crawler's world upside down and setting the stage for the year to come! Collects Amazing Spider-Man #525-528, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #1-4 & Marvel Knights Spider-Man #19-22.

Rating: - Good though not what I expected.
To me the first 5 volumes were either decent, good, or great. *Loved volume 4-5 the most* Where's the following volumes felt a little weak when comparing. Because the whole feeling of the previous chapters kinda died away. And the conclusion doesn't seem complete here.
All in all it's entertaining but without spoiling to much. It could of been better.
Rating: - Pulp.
I love Peter David, I love Straczynski, and Hudlin is fine, but this feels like a big add for each participants other works. You really find yourself not caring for any of the characters. It was a road to hell littered with good intentions.
Rating: - the evolution... of an arachnid
I'm a huge Spider-Man fan. I think what makes him so great is that he is just a man. Even with all of his powers, Peter Parker has to deal with everyday life, more so than in other comics. And here Spider-Man evolves. Into something more? I'm sure the Marvel writers will have more to do here. I expect great things in the future of one Peter Parker, Spider-Man.
Rating: - Spider-Man, Spider-Man...What Did They Do To You?
This collection completes Spider-Man's origin change from science-based to some sort of mystical garbage. He gets some new powers here, which we're told he's "had all along." How Peter Parker overlook some of his spider-based powers such as organic web-spinners shooting from his wrists? Or night-vision? Or the ability to detect airflow changes with the tiny spider hairs covering his body?
Peter was the original science nerd-turned-superhero, and I find it difficult to believe that he ... Read More

In The Other spiderman has to make a choice, living with new spider's powers and old powers supersized, or be dead, and of course you know the answer. He fights with Morlun, an strange monster that had to kill every human with animal powers, he has to eat them. The story written by J.M Straczynski is clever, fun and many action. probably J.M Straczynski
