Average Rating:
Rating: - Best math supplement I've seen
I have been a high school math teacher for a few years now, and this is the book that I constantly go back to. There is a reasonable number of problems per page so the students feel that it is "doable." There is also a great mix of easy and challlenging problems, as well as fun puzzles to get the kids motivated. I always give this book as a present to student teachers and they love it!
Rating: - Math Teacher Help
Gave this to a friend who just landed a job as a permanent substitute teacher of 9th & 10th grade math. It has saved many a day and been a big help on those days when things don't go as planned.
A real time saver, easy to use.
Rating: - A must have!
This is a great resource to introduce or reinforce math concepts. Well organized and age appropiate tasks.
Rating: - Cleaver and Helpful
The book is organized very well and is extremely useful. The activities range from explanatory to challenging depending on the students level. It is a must for anyone forced to use a boring textbook such as the Saxon Series. It helps to keep the students challenged and interested.
Rating: - It was worth the money
My lower-level sophomores loved the various activities. The students were far more motivated than when working out of the book. Some of the activities are much easier than others. There is a wide variety of topics and the format is slightly different for each activity. It was nice that the students could "check" their answers on many of the sheets.
