This is the SOURCE for Vestibular Rehabilitation. This is what I do for a living and this book has it all. It's really intense reading so if you are thinking about just perusing it to learn about the vestibular system, good luck. I often refer back to it after I learn a concept somewhere else and realize how deep the book really is.

"Vestibular Rehabilitation; third edition" is the required reading material prior to taking "Vestibular rehab- a competency based course" (A week long certification course). I had attended a couple of two day Balance courses prior to purchasing this book. It also sites evidenced based practice supporting BPPV treatment and several case studies, plus tables, graphs, charts ... Read More

The included accompanying DVD with various ... Read More

For example, Chapter 2 is Vestibular Adaptation, and Chapter 5 is on Vestibular Compensation. (and Chapters 3 & 4 deal with postural control and vestibular system). Then, in Chapter 20, the authors discusses yet another set of vestibular recovery mechanisms. This requires a lot of work on the part of the reader to tease out overlapping concepts ... Read More
