Editorial Review: The crisis facing youth today is not that they are disinterested in the spiritual. The opposite is true. Postmodern youth crave a connection to the spiritual. The real crisis today is that they see all spiritual paths equally valid and have no allegiance to any absolutes. Barna statistics show that "churched kids" think no differently than "unchurched kids." Into this spiritual potluck, Steve Russo offers the truth about these so-called paths to God and delivers the good news about the Way. Teens will learn to evaluate other faiths and see that the biblical witness can be trusted as the absolute in the search for meaning and truth in this life.

Rating: - needed book for this time
This is a fine work, worth your reading. It unlike the unfair reviews posted on this site, is not a one-side screed of lies being rammed down your thoat. It is a fair attempt to show how other faiths both agree and disagree with christianity. But to read this you must have an open mind. Open to the idea that there actual is TRUTH in the world. And that you might want to consided that when you are living your life. What you believe about life and God will determine wrether you see life, day to ... Read More
Rating: - Great book!
This book is a clear, concise, Christian resource about other religions. Russo explains various other religions in plain english which is great for the teen book study I teach. He points out many of the fallicies and inconsistencies in other world religions. This is a book written by a Christian for Christians who want to know basics about other religions. He unapologetically sticks to the Gospel which is refreshing in our relativist world. Good information. Good read.
Rating: - No, there is NOT "one true way", as Russo claims.
Do not waste your time on this book. Russo "explains" other religions but with a heavily-biased Christian viewpoint, which is completely unfair. If Christianity was the only "Way", as Russo claims, then why would other religions exist? Consider this question, and do not buy this book.
Rating: - I can't believe it
I like christian concepts don't get me wrong.
I am not a christian but respect the religon.
However, I have a problem with this man, my
problem stems from the old idea that this path
is the one and true path. I severely disagree.
I strongly know if my heart that this is
nonsense and that even though I am happy this
man has found his path, I can not understand
why his books are published to promote the
idea that his "religon" is the only one way ... Read More
Rating: - Excellent book!
This is a very informative book if you're interested in reading up on other religions besides Christianity. You'll learn the history of Islam, Buddism, Hinduism, Mormonism, the occult and satanism, Wicca and Witchcraft, and more. This book is definitely from a Christian perspective, but contains some very good information.
