I am a very visual person so the pictures in this book really help me to memorize the information.

This is a textbook made by doctors with an aim to entertain and teach basic knowledge of microbiology to the reader by some tricks on memorization and drawings. It is worth your money, very creative and instructional.
Rating: - Best Micro Resource for Med Students
This book somehow manages to convey at times dry material in a humorous, engaging way. At the same time, it is written in a way that accentuates pathophysiologic understanding of infectious diseases. This book is both high-yield and entertaining, making it the best micro resource for coursework and boards.

This is an essential book for any medical student, and I am not one that buys many books (this is only my second one). The third years all recommended this book to us. And I will do the same for the next class. It is organized well and well worth it.

To all medical students: buy this book! And I recommend you do it before your micro block/section even starts. Ignore your lectures and use this instead, it will make so much more sense. Beyond the pictures, there are tons of little quips here and there to help you remember and group the information.
