Rating: - A must read!
I was recently diagnosed with gestational diabetes, and searching for information. This book is WONDERFUL. It gave me hope, and a reason to take good care of my body, as the horrible side effects (neuropathy, retinopathy, etc.) are NOT inevitable! The author does a great job of explaining research and every aspect of diabetes in a way that the average person can understand. This should be required reading for any person diagnosed with diabetes.

Jenny's book, on the other hand, made me feel like "I can do this". ... Read More

The book is by a diabetic who has a website and includes more than the general information and answered some of my questions.
Doctors and diabetes educators don't have time for you so you really need to buy books.
Another book I liked is Sugar Coating Diabetes which critiques a lot of information ... Read More
