I purchased this book at the suggestion of my husband. My mother recently had a serious illness and was hosiptalized for three days.This book would have helped me recognize her symptoms earlier and we might have averted an ER and Hospital stay all together.
The information in this book is simple and easy to understand. The break-down of information is done very well and I find it extremely informative.

This book has REALLY improved my health. My five stars (I'd give ten, if allowed) is based first on the little information on p. 27 stating that certain medications (for me, beta blockers and calcium channel blockers) can relax the sphincter that allows acid to come up the esophagus. Changing my hypertension medication made all the difference in the world--essentially overnight.
