I bought this book longtime ago after reading the big books (gold and silver ones). This book is small, about 200 pages, precise, almost all what you need to answer exam questions. The practical side is covered as well but not as detailed as the big ones. I felt that in the last few weeks before the exam that is what you need to read. Practice on patients while having this book is ideal. Good luck to all

Covers the common and important topics within the exam. Well structured and concise. Easy to carry around.

Good size for carrying around the wards. Doesn't have everything in it but easily annotated. Great for last minute reminders too.

This book lacks a strategy inside. it is simply a superficial collection of information related to the exam but lack organisation and writing skills. i gave it OK because it can be read at the end when you finish reading other books .

This is a great basic book. Good to start before hitting onto the bigger texts of Ryder and Ballinger. Would make sure you can do all the cases in this book as a minimum then go through rider (don't forget the gold one for Hx/communication stations) and can use Ballinger for additional questions although it's answers are sometimes a bit out of date. I passed first time..it can be done!!! Lots of work and long hours on the wards though :(
