This book incorporates Diane's 'get healthy' regimen with fabulous recipes. She was the inspiration for Suzanne Sommers' cookbooks/health books, too - which are also quite good. I have bought this as a gift for many of my friends. I use it more than any other cookbook I have.
Rating: - The best cookbook I've ever owned
I consider a cookbook a keeper if there are six or more recipes that I use or want to use. In this book there are at least 20, and I haven't tried them all. What I love about this cookbook is that there are a variety of ethnic tastes - everything from simple steak and chicken to Indian, Mediterranean, and Moroccan flavors. Of course, it helps to be cooking with butter and cream, but this IS an excellent cookbook. I have been using it for several months for all meals, especially dinners. The recipes are simple and have been consistently delicious. I am just starting to cook serious meals regularly, and this cookbook is easy to follow.
