This is the best in OR reading I have found. I simply cannot focus on a large text or journal articles during a case. I enjoy reading the one paragraph Q&A style. I feel I extract a learning point per question without ignoring my surroundings. Yes, many of the concepts are simple and fit for medical students. I just received this book and I recommend it even if you aren't interested in anesthesia, it references quite a bit to physiology and pharmacology which for me since step I is long forgotten.. so it is a nice refresher and sure to cover easily a few questions that won't just show up on rounds but on the boards..

Haven read the previous reviews and peeked one translated version, i decided to order this book. I found that this book has a lot of useful data, but I read it mostly as a supplement to the textbooks, which sometimes doesn't mention these "secrets". It`s not a core review or a quick reference book. If you`re looking for that go for Morgan Instead.
