Rating: - Nice pictures of how machines work, good recommendations
I am an incipient woodworking amateur and as such the value of this book is in the tutorial and recommendation aspects. I liked a little better the Ortho book (all about power tools) as it does a better job of describing practical tool applications.
Despite the previous comment, I did like this one.

Writing a good book about power tools is not easy - the market for these tools is changing too fast. Moreover, for obvious commercial and legal reasons it is impossible to make any quality or value judgements in print. So what can an author (who admits to be a "power tool junkie") do when writing a 260 peage book on power tools?
