This is a must read for the person who has always felt that things happen for a reason. I understand just how Jennifer felt about her father. I myself had my Dad pass away and always felt that he was trying to help me understand. I found myself crying and feeling her pain with the lost.

I am completely in awe of this book! I read it cover to cover in only one day-I absolutely could not put it down!! I read Ms. Weigel's touching and heart-felt personal tale in a single sitting. She deftly (and often humorously) tackles universal subjects such as career crises, spiritual ambiguity and the inexplicable grief of losing a beloved parent.

Loved this book. Opened my eyes to the medium world and made me a believer that perhaps there is something beyond our stay on Earth. Her dialogues with experts in the medium field made me hunt down some of their works and I am eager to attend conferences addressing these issues. I thought this was going to be the chronicle of a daughter's search for confirmation that there is something after this life. I was wrong. This is so much more. It is one of the most profound, honest, heart-wrenching love stories I've ever read. Sometimes it's laugh-out-loud funny. The next moment it's so poignant my heart weeps. All in all, it's filled with the wide range of emotions that accompanies the lost and found of a beloved father. I know, I've been there.
