After my purchase, I was excited to review the updated copy of this book, since I had the old 2007 version and I was disappointed to find out, that the new book contained the same old information. The updates are not even accurate, for example, I submitted my work to few publishers, who notified me later that they no longer accept manuscripts, where in the book, the very opposite is stated. I buy this book each year. If you're not using it, you're probably not selling much -- or, at the very least, not expanding the markets to which you sell. Buy it!

Wow! I went to sleep late the night this arrived. I gained much and I'm still reading through the first few articles. This is packed with valuable "how to" information. It also contains loads of references. But from the very beginning, this book help me to think of my writing as a business and a passion, not just a passion. A must buy!
The only thing I could do without is the author's intro. I really don't think a story about journaling the first time she was drunk has a place ... Read More

Love It... I bought the '03 edition and it's improved sooooo much over the years. It's very informative and very user-friendly. There's great tips on how to format your manuscript, cover letter, and query. You will be glad that you bought it.
