Editorial Review: We've listened to the fans! Collected in this book are three of the four short stories by Robert Asprin and Jody Lynn Nye that introduce the new Myth Adventures Series (the first one, M.Y.T.H. Inc. Instructions, appeared in Something M.Y.T.H. Inc). The new series launched in August 2003 with Myth Alliances, and these stories bridge the gap between Book 12 of the original series (Something) and Book 1 of the new series (or is that Book 13?). In addition to the stories, Myth-Told Tales also includes introductions by both Robert and Jody, as well as full-colour cover art by newcomer Michael Komarck!

Rating: - Mything Robert Asprin in 1/2 the book
They are getting worse and worse. Obviously an attempt to continue to wring money out of this concept. Written by Nye and approved by Aspin. No wonder it doesn't feel like his original works.
Rating: - I love Aahz and Skeeve!
Aahz and Skeeve have been favorites of mine since my cousin gave me the first 4 books for my 12th or 13th birthday, anytime I could find a new book I was happy
Rating: - Testing the waters
This book seems to be a test of whether or not Jody Lynn Nye and Robert Asprin can work together. This collection of short stories are a fun read (just like any other "Myth" book), but I found that a few of them ended abruptly and seemed to lack a planned arc of how thy were going to get to that ending.
My jury's still out on whether or not this Nye/Asprin pairing is a good one. But I'm thrilled to have "Myth" books published at a much more rapid pace than I grew up with.
Rating: - I'm DONE with Myth after this pablum.
I don't pick up Myth books planning to waste my time on a collection of pages with words on them.
Asprin presented fresh characters that breathed for me but the group of dopplegangers that showed up for this tome have had the wind knocked out of them.
This book doesn't stink, but it's NOT inspiring. It is thoroughly unworthy of the Asprin of old.
So much so, I can't take the chance reading another.
Part of the problem may be the bastardization of the series ... Read More
Rating: - Forget these new Myth books
These new Myth books are pure garbage. Readers are better off reading the original series and completly disregard these co-authored pap.
