This book had adequate information. The suggestions were rather mainstream. I think they could be used by anybody without creating much changes to their eating.

This book will help you learn all the basics you need. It goes into great detail on how our bodies are machine. And if you want your machine to run properly you have to give it the correct fuels.

It is pretty scary to learn how unheathy Americans have become due to our poor eating habits and lifestyles. I found this book to be very well written and easy to read and absorb. There is great information as far as what foods to buy and what to avoid to prevent disease. The recipies are simple and delicious. It has definately inspired me to be more healthy, reduce my stress, exercise, meditate, and spend more time in the kitchen. I have more energy and I feel great!

There seems to be a pretty wide variance on what foods are allowed/excluded from an anti-inflammation diet, and this book is, by far, the most inclusive. I think it more correctly describes a good, healthy diet. Packed with recipes? Not the one I read!
Rating: - Excellent Book
This well-written book explains the prevalence of inflammation in many disease states, including heart disease. It then explains how we can lessen the inflammation. I love that most of the recommendations are life-style changes (diet and exercise), that all of us can do with little expense and no side effects. And the dietary recommendations for more fruit, veggies and whole grains are perfect. To top it off, there are recipes!
