Editorial Review:
This book is an updated, second edition of Biochemistry: Review for New National Boards (J & S, 1993). It contains more than 500 test items formatted like the current USMLE examinations, with answers and explanations for the items. The second edition now has more than 60% of its questions based on clinical vignettes and has more illustrations and an index. Many new items, based largely in clinical vignettes or the high-yield areas for Biochemistry on Step 1 of the USMLE, have been added to this new edition.

This is among the very few books presenting the right balance between the clinical vignettes and the basic sciences!... ... Read More
