This book is designed as a guide for the practitioner interested in taking the Bio-medicine portion of the NCCAOM exam. The NCCAOM Bio-medicine module is made up of 50 questions divided into three sections and this book is modeled after this exam, containing questions from each of the three categories. The book is divided into five tests containing 50 questions each. Each test includes an answer sheet, answer key and detailed explanations for most questions. Practitioners not interested in taking the Bio-medicine portion of the NCCAOM exam may also find the information contained in this book useful in their everyday clinical practice.

So many mistakes! I was pretty surprised. Haven't taken the exams yet, but definitely disappointed to buy a book - especially from Blue Poppy - that comes with a list of mistakes which isn't even complete.

Rating: - helpful, but riddled with errors
Definitely a cost-effective and helpful study tool. Simple multiple-choice testing format, with detailed explanations of the answers at the end of each test, made this a more accessible review than pricey online testing programs. However, there are several errors--including wrong letter answers, misnomers and typo's--which can make this a somewhat frustrating experience. Is there an errata sheet available for this book?

This book was a gift to my daughter who is studying acupuncture. She said it is very helpful in preparations for tests. The book was shipped promptly.
