Rating: - One of the greatest of Almodovar (Una de las mejores de Almodovar)
Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown introduced me to Pedro Almodovar, Carmen Maura and Antonio Banderas. I loved the movie so much that I purchased it as soon as I could. Now I own, I believe 8 movies from Almodovar.
This movie makes you laugh so much that you simply cannot finish counting the funny scenes. Some of those are:
-The Taxi driver
-The "look" of the wife
-The girl that got in trouble because of the boyfriend
-The gazpacho
-Etc

Rating: - Brilliant introduction to the works of Pedro Almodovar
This is the first movie by Almodovar that I ever saw, and I have since gone to great lengths to see very other movie of his that I can get my hands on. It is full of twists and turns that will keep you laughing and wondering what in the world will happen next! To truely get as much out of this ... Read More
Rating: - Hillarity and Gazpacho
If you liked Tie me up! Tie me Down! One of the earlier works of Antonio Banderas and company, you will be just, if not more satisfied with this film!
Rating: - Gazpacho for everyone!

Rating: - The best comedy in any language!
This is one of those rare movies that can be watched over and over again, wihtout tiring the viewer. The plot twists and the eventual crossing of all paths make the climax of this movie hilarious. If you enjoy Seinfeld's four diverging paths that converge at the end of a half-hour episode, you'll love "Mujeres al borde..." Antonio Banderas as a stuttering fiancé, Carmen Maura as a double-crossed lover, the feminist lawyer, the unknowing betrothed, the Mambo Taxi driver and the Don ... Read More
