Admit it: you never thought you'd be buying a video with the word potty in the title. But it's been months, and while Junior seems to love his potty, he doesn't actually do anything in it. So you need some inspiration. Well, you've found it. This video expands upon the popular children's book by the same name in two ways: there's a sing-along potty song and a 13-minute doctor's statement for parents. The director of child psychiatry at a prominent New York hospital will calmly reassure you that it's perfectly normal for Junior to be taking his sweet time letting go of the diapers, and that's worth a lot. And the animated retelling of Joshua's potty progress is good, too. But it's the "music video" of the oh-so-catchy "Potty Song" that makes this half-hour tape. And just in case you aren't already singing the song in line at the bank or the grocery store, the thoughtful producers have included a lyric sheet for you. "Yes, I'm going to my potty, potty / Now, I'm going to my potty, potty...." --Kimberly Heinrichs

Rating: out of 5 stars - Potty Video
This is an excellent video for explaining body part. My son now realize where poo poo come out and now has fewer accident

Rating: out of 5 stars - Good adjunct to the book
If you can only afford one product, get the book. If you can afford both, this is a nice support piece.

Rating: out of 5 stars - not thrilled
I had heard great things about this dvd, but after watching it, I'm not thrilled with it and neither is my son. He enjoyed Elmo's Potty Time much more. I'm not sure what I expected, but a bunch of babies sitting on potties wasn't it!

Rating: out of 5 stars - Yeah it's corney, but so what! It worked for our son!
Our 36 month old son was reluctant to do #2 in a toilet, even though he had been urinating in the toilet for months. He was running to the bathroom and putting on a diaper. This DVD motivated our son to use the toilet for #2.

Yeah, it's corny, but so what?? My son watched this video for several months and loved it every time.

Rating: out of 5 stars - THIS VIDEO IS SO LAME
My kids did not even want to sit through this, it was so bland, boring and bad. Also, the music is beyond lame. I think this video may help my kids fall into a deep sleep--but it is definitely not going to get them potty trained. I much prefer Elmo's potty video.
