This is the first video of this children's favorite series that's not just a TV segment. The introduction, created for the video, follows Blue's intrepid friend Steve as he visits a kid's house to learn the "Birthday Candle Dance." It's only six or so minutes but it does add to the fun. Then it's on to Blue's fabulous birthday party, where she has left some clues for what she really wants for her birthday. Another winner. --Doug Thomas

My 2 year old LOVES Blue and Blue's Clues. We rented this one from the library and she wanted to watch it over and over - I think there's just something magical about birthdays (and other holidays for that matter) for small children. So far this week she has been at her play kitchen making "birthday cakes" for everyone in the house and wanting us to sing the birthday song over and over. I should give Blue's Clue's BIG credit. Want to know why? Because a while ago I was about 4 or 5 years old. My autistic sister Pamela (Who is a little bit older than me and she's a special needs child) hated drawing and writing. That's a shame for a 9 year old kid to hate drawing and writing! But Blue's Clue's was released and she loved it (or loves it) and because Steve had his handy, dandy notebook, Pamela started to draw pictures just like Steve! Yay!!!!!!

I guess we have more Blues Clues videos and DVDs than any other character. He's been a favorite of my son's since before he was one year old. Now he's almost 2 1/2 and has begun to develop more serious tastes. He'll actually watch many more programs geared towards older kids, and even adults, but he still likes his Blues Clues now and then.

My son is 2 now.He's alway's loved blue even as an infant.I have older children who enjoy watching also.It's something he can relate to.He's also learning so much from blue and her friends.Also from Steve and Joe.Any kid will love this video.

My son was given this video during his Blue's Clues obsession. He loved it and I even got some great ideas for his 2nd birthday party.
