I fell in love with this album when I first heard it in 1988. For me, the 80s was not a good decade for BS free rock 'n' roll. John's debut restored my faith in honest American R&R. Alternating rockers and ballads, Memory In The Making operated in similar territory to Bryan Adams, but knocked anything Bryan did into a cocked hat, "Reckless" notwithstanding! It's a shame that Kilzer only has 2 albums. His lyrics are modern-day poetry and each tune is excellent.

Not bad from a girl's basketball coach from Memphis. Not a bad one in the lot. Great collection of tunes from a well missed entertainer. I think he's still doin some shows around here and there. Buy it....You'll like it!
