Rating: out of 5 stars - Great Album
I had this album on vinyl when it was first released. I loved it then and still do. Now I have it on CD.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Tolstoy-type reviews
OK, I really loved this album in the 80s, and I think it holds up pretty well. But what's with all these super-long reviews? And did someone REALLY think the Hooters would be super stars? I mean, come on, it is fun music and all, but that's about it.

I do like that pretty much every song is about sex, though. Don't take my car out tonight, indeed.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Great Debut
The Hooters were given a national spotlight after Rob Hyman co-wrote the classic "Time After Time" with Cyndi Lauper. They responded well with this successful and strong album. The first single, "All You Zombies", was a swipe at organized religion, a frank call to believers. The follow-up, "And We Danced" is one of the more underrated singles of the 80's; and "Day By Day" is a catchy, high energy song that showed the entertainment value of this tight band. Rating: out of 5 stars - Underrated Boys from Philly
The vocal tag team of Rob Hyman & Eric Bazillion lead the way for this unique rock sound sprinkled with folk. This debut CD includes such rock hits as "And We Danced" & "Day By Day" along with the softer "All You Zombies" as well as the ballad "Where Do The Children Go." None of ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Too Many "Best Hits Collections"
That's right! There's Too Many "Best Hits Collections" of these guys. At last count there were more collections of Hooter songs than original albums issued. That's just plain WAKED. I suggest buying "zig zag", "Nervous Night" and "One Way Home" via the used venue here on amazon. This way you own ALL of the great music & YOU decide what their best hits are for yourself, don't let some record industry suit do it for you.
