Unless you want the complete Ferrick collection, I recommend skipping this one. Except for "Hello Dad", "Breaking Vows" and the title track, the lyrics on 'Massive Blur' are not her strongest. "Massive Blur" is truly a treasure. It has remained one of my favorite records for several years now, and it's truly her best music. That is not to say that Melissa Ferrick is a one hit wonder. This is an excellent album. It's a nice cross between Ani DiFranco and Sinead O'Connor. It's fast-paced and the lyrics are intriguing. Every single track on the album is excellent, and my favorite was "Honest Eyes." Humor, mixed with a small bit of anger and lots of genuine looking at life type of material. Of her three albums released so far, this is by far still my favorite. No disappointment in this purchase.
