So I too will pass on this collection of decent songs because I want the songs FROM THE MOVIE. duh. Rating: - The thing called love dvd
If you like country and western music this film is a must. It's superbly casted with the likes of Samantha mathis as a lonesone stranger coming into a rural town in search of stardom.Within moments she meets her new love which he, himself his searching for that golden stairway to the top.
He in the film is the sadly missed late River Pheonix. Both the pair hold the film with intensity aided by Dermont machelroy as the outsider who he himself his in love with Samantha.

Mainly I was interested in Samantha Mathis singing "Maybe, God's a Woman Too." As I looked down the list of songs, none were by Ms. Mathis or River Phoenix. Too bad. Not interested. Perhaps one day, you'll get the original sound track.
