Rating: - Can't Touch This!
This was a difficult to find CD, and it is wonderful. It is so good to have Hammer's greatest hits in one volume.
Rating: - you can't touch this
This has all of Hammers most popular tracks on it! "U Can't Touch This" is, of course his biggest hit and signature song, and my favorite. In case you're too old (or too young) to remember, in the early 90's Hammer was a staple on MTV. He was huge. He really helped shape an entire generation and a genre of music that was still very new to millions of people. Kids across America even started dressing like him. Rating: - One Of The Most Entertaining Acts Of The 1990s
MC Hammer was by far one of the most popular artists of the 90s. I think that this Greatest Hits Collection is one of my more favorite Cd's because of the fact that MC hammers music was for the most part "family Friendly", and in this day and age, that is very important. However, if you want to buy a decent CD for yourself, or your child/children, then I think ... Read More
Rating: - I'm shaking my "Pumps in da But"
I'm only giving this greatest hits 4 stars instead of 5 because they didn't put Pumps in the But on this set - why, I don't know, but, they missed it on this one. Otherwise, I loved MC Hammer, because, his music was fun and positive, before the gangster rappers took over and made rapping ugly.
Rating: - I'D STILL RATHER LISTEN TO HAMMER......
PLEASE make me understand: P Diddy is accepted, but hammer isn't ? An idiot that is proud of being shot 9 times (50 cent) is being idolized by youths, but hammer is ridiculed? Another rapper rapping about "sweat dripping down his ballz" is accepted, but hammer is wack ? Oh my god, when Hammer came out rap was still about fun and partying, not like nowa days where everyone wants to kill each other. I dont get how they can put down Hammer's style, when all Rap bands nowa days have a million people on ... Read More
