Rating: out of 5 stars - N.W.A. and the Posse
This album contains an amazing collection of notoriously difficult to find tracks! The album also features many underground rap artists with amazing talent, people like Fresh K, and Dr Rock, etc, as well as all the more famous artists Eazy E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and the DoC. the tracks are some what different to what you would find on a conventional rap album, by listening to this album I got the impression that the artists who feature on it are the inspiration for many modern tracks. I have listened ... Read More

I think this was the best debut release from any West Coast Artists. This was the introduction of N.W.A. to the rest of the world and the beginning of that west coast style which Chez Whitey dubbed Gangsta Rap. To listen to the first version of "Dope Man" and "Boyz in tha Hood" is like a total flashback.

Rating: out of 5 stars - First real NWA album, get it if ya love em
I would definatly not consider this a classic.
Good track's are b-Ball, Boyz-N-Tha hood,Bitch IZ a Bitch and Dope Man, even though the first two are edited version's.
All the rest of the song's are crap, and that is baisically the low-down.
Tight album art, actually I think the best of any NWA album, even stright outta compton.
One thing I don't understand is how Arabian prince, and the whole Fila Fresh Crew, besides D.O.C. ever became rapper's cause they suck monkey balls bad, ... Read More

I'm sorry, but this album is by NO MEANS a classic. Just because it has NWA stamped across the cover does not make it good. Just because it is the early origins of NWA does not make it good. If you are a diehard NWA fan it's worth owning, but I'm not gonna tell people "You have to own this, it's so good". Because it's not. Let me show you how this review should really go
1.Boyz N Tha Hood-Early version, worth owning if you want to hear the first version of it
2.8 Ball-Another early version. ... Read More
