Rating:  - Good soundtrack, shame about some slightly different tracks
I'm pleased with this product, it arrived in good time, was in good condition and worked when I played it, however some of the songs at the beginning of the soundtrack aren't like the originals that you hear in the movie. I however already knew this when I was ordering the product so I knew what I was getting. Other than that, most of the songs are from the movie and for any fan this would be a good item for their collection.

Anyone who likes this movie should get the soundtrack. It is marvelous. The songs are so cool. I love to turn the volume up on the theme song and sing along. This is one of the best movies ever and the soundtrack is just as good!!
Rating: - Good deal
Great cd, nice to know in this day and age there is a way us Generation X-ers can find stuff that reminds us of our childhood, the things we grew up with. This CD was one of them. All the music from the movie, the original version of the Ivory Tower, kinda jazzier then what was heard in the movie, and of course The "Neverending story" theme song, with that deffinately 80s sound, gotta love it!
Rating: - Good orchestral pop - A good buy even with omissions
I've owned this CD for quite some time, and despite a lot of fans of the movie and Klaus Doldinger/Giorgio Moroder fans accurately stating that the orchestral version of "Ivory Tower" can't be found, I would say this is still worth your money. While it's true that some of the songs have been re-orchestrated with more synthesizers, most of the centerpieces of this soundtrack remain intact and are well worth the money for the nostalgia and pristine pop orchestra sound alone. I bought this CD on a whim because I remembered loving that first scene as a kid with the clouds and the Limahl song at the beginning of the movie. I remember there being more music in the movie but I was surprised to discover that every track on this CD is magical, and often times inspirationally uplifting as well as touchingly sad in a beautiful nostalgic way.
