Editorial Review:This motorcycle racing game, set in pristine outdoor environments, will leave players with a serious need for speed. While the game sports some of the most beautiful environments and intricate riders ever seen in a video game, there is no hint of the "extreme" that the title suggests. The collisions are relatively tame, enabling your bike to glide up fences and other objects instead of crashing or rebounding off of them. Suzuki Alstare Extreme Racing features easy driving controls that enable novice riders to take steady curves at high speeds, but players will still need to use the brakes around those hairpins. Turbo boosts are rewarded for reaching checkpoints. For all of the extreme ambitions of this game, it is still seems to be missing a vital component. The racing environments are designed in a way that fails to convey the speed and realism of an actual race. Rather than rushing by the player, the scenery moves as though it is being dragged toward you. While the speedometer and engine-revving top out at fever pitch, the onscreen visual motion just doesn't match up. Beautiful to behold, but only recommended for nongamer, motorcycle racing fans. --Jeff Young Pros: - Great graphics
- New features unlock as you advance through the game
- Solid controls
Cons: - Racing environments fail to convey speed

I wanted this game for a long time so I ordered it and it and the third party provider sent the wrong item. I never got the game.

Suzuki Alstare is a basic crouch rocket, traveling around 225 mph through dirt, snow, sand, ect. The game features twelve tracks, six "super bikes", and four modes .(Reverse mode, Split Screen, ect.) The graphics are very rich and smooth. The also has a frame rate at 60 fps, which isn't bad.Suzuki Alstare has a few mayor flaws. The physics in the game is one of them. There is a lack of feel of going fast. Another flaw in the physics is falling. Also your progress is based around ... Read More

This game is not near as fun as other racing games I have played sure the handling is good and realistic but gameplay is just ok. I just didnt have the ambition to keep advancing in the game. I dont know maybe I just like the freedom of games that let you just cruise around like need 4 speed. the game was fun for all my little cousins. No thinking involved just go. Look for a different title if you want more than just racing but if you just want speed on a bike not a bad buy.

Thnk about it: a motorcycle racing game with great graphics and sound. But the gameplay stinks.First of all, you have to race others through enviornments full of sharp turns and bends. This is where the control should come in handy. It doesn't. You have very little control over your motorcycle, and turning a sharp turn is very hard without crashing into a wall and blowing up. and when you blow up, you have to wait a 3 sec. while you get back into gear. But besides that, motorcycle games ... Read More

This game is more fun than anything! It's the best racing game I've played because if you're willing to practice you can go far. There's also a reverse challenge and I'm on the next to last level of that...it's been a blast getting that far. Choose the name of your racer wisely. Mindset is very important when you're forced to react as quickly as the higher levels require.
