I have this system and it only cost $20.00 but I can tell from the picture that mine came with a different controller with smaller A B C X Y Z buttons and they are black. I can't get it hooked up to my Video center because thos spots are filled with my Gamecube, Gamecube Accessories, N64, and I had to make my PS2 stand up on the side, next to my TV. The Genesis 1 & 2, are, IMO, truly the greatest systems ever. The compatibility with the Sega CD, Sega 32x, and Power Base Converter make it all the more better. I also reccomend the Genesis 3 Core System, with the exception of a few negatives:
