Editorial Review: Built to run with the fastest video, publishing, and database network applications, the EtherFast LAN Card is a high performance network adapter for 32-bit PCI local bus computers. Boasting a maximum data throughput of 132 Mbps, it includes a combo autodetecting 10BaseT/100Base-TX port, which means that you can begin using the EtherFast now--even if you don't plan on upgrading to a 100 Mbps network right away.
Built to run with the fastest network applications, the EtherFast 10/100 LAN Card is a high performance network adapter for desktop computers with 32-bit PCI expansion slots. The EtherFast 10/100 LAN Card is ready to run with both 10BaseT and 100BaseTX networks right out of the box - the card's 10/100 combo RJ-45 port automatically detects your network's maximum speed and adjusts itself accordingly. The EtherFast 10/100 LAN Card from Linksys also features Wake-On-LAN (WOL) event management. If your PCI motherboard has built-in WOL support, you'll be able to utilize this unique management feature. You can remotely turn on any computer with a WOL network card. The ultimate in 10/100 networking is yours! If you don't have WOL support on your motherboard or you have no need for it, don't worry - your EtherFast 10/100 LAN Card will operate normally anyway. If your mission critical applications require blinding network speed, the EtherFast 10/100 LAN Card is the best value for your networking dollar.

Rating: - Quality network LAN computer card.
If you want a quality network LAN computer card by an excellent company, this is it.
Rating: - Card is out of date as is the driver support
I purchased this product around 2001 and it was good at the time. I wanted to use it in a new computer running Vista. When I tried to get Vista drivers I found that there were non available and not even ones for XP for card versions beyond 1.0. Look at the date on the positive reviews they are in the early 2000's It probably was a good product then.
Rating: - Good product
Have used this company's products many times. This item is performing as I would expect it to do. Linksys continues to have some of the best networking hardware available. I commend Amazon for making Linksys products available to its customers.
Rating: - Served well for DSL/Cable
This card was used for my mom's cable modem since her old computer didn't have a LAN port. She retired it later after getting a new PC and gave the 2 cards she had (a misunderstanding led her to get a 2nd card) to me. I've since then put them in computers or bundles I've sold to friends of mine and haven't heard them complain at all. It's a nice little NIC to turn to if you need an ethernet port for cable internet or DSL.
Rating: - Win 2000 Driver Problem
Does not work for WIN2000. The WIN 2000 drivers are not ont he CD and everyone I downloaded did not work.
