Nuclear Strike is the superior sequel to the popular helicopter action game Soviet Strike. The graphics are better, the interactive environments are richer, and the addition of new vehicles adds varied gameplay to an already standout series.
Flying a massively powerful attack chopper is still at the core of the game, but during some missions you'll be able to control tanks or even Harrier jump jets, which are a complete blast to fly. The mission objectives are varied, and, fortunately for action fans, there are plenty of enemies to destroy. If you get tired of taking on the bad guys, there are also buildings and other ground targets worth destroying. With so much to blast, you'll likely suffer trigger finger from the nonstop assault. While fast action is always fun, players looking for an action game that requires any amount of strategic thought will likely want to look elsewhere. --T. Byrl Baker
Pros:
  • Lots of vehicles to command
  • Plenty of targets for nonstop action

Cons:
  • Some slowdown when the screen gets crowded
  • Blowing things up gets old after a while

Rating: out of 5 stars - MASS DESTRUCTION
I LOVE the way you can shoot up not just the enemies like some games but you can BLAST most everything on the ground. The graphics are first rate for a PSX. It is a keeper.

Rating: out of 5 stars - THIS IS ONE OF MY BEST GAMES!
This is one of my best games. It has more vehicles than the Soviet Strike game. You have to stop a crazy mad man with a stolen thermonuclear device. The graphics are smoother than Soviet Strike, and it has more levels and codes. There are new vechicle in this game:
Super Apache: It has the same fire power as in the last game.
Sea Apache : This has weaker fire power (missles-75 p)
M1-A1 Abrams: One shot kills all. One shot will kill any enemy.
M-2 Bradly: It takes many more ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Very fun Strike game
I will admit, i went into playing this game a little skeptical, because of the previous "Strike" games, but this one turned out to be the best yet. This game took me many hours to beat, you get many diffrent helicopters to choose from, as well as tanks and hovercrafts too to destroy buildings for fun, or to actually do the missions that will keep you playing for hours.

Rating: out of 5 stars - The best Strike Game
Gone are the days of Desert Strike on the Amiga and Jungle strike on the Megadrive with their ageing graphics and missions. Great games for their day but prepare now for the follow on from the Playstation best seller Soviet Strike. Fans of the previous Strike games should drop everything and buy this now. Join Earle, Hack and Andrea for another 5 awesome missions to stop the nuclear madmen of the Far East.
The gameplay is much the same as Soviet Strike but this time you can be over 10 different ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Doesn't messure up
Hey, I loved the Strike series, all of them. Why are you guys bashing 'em? I think I can name all right now: Desert Strike, Jungle Strike, Urban Strike, Soviet Strike, and now Nuclear Strike. But Nuclear Strike just isn't as enjoyable as the previous titles in the series. They were challenging, but winnable. Now in Nuclear Strike the levels are so long you become bored; really, many of these missions could have been easily split to form two missions. Another extremly unfortionate thing that happened ...
