Rating: - Total Annihilation Kingdoms is the best game in the world
this is not jost a game this is life i practecly grow whit this game i play it for 5 years and i stil and always wil think this is the best game in the world for ever. nothing can't replays my joy when i'm paying kingdoms.
Rating: - It's called "Expansion" not "New Game"
This was a really good sequel to the original TA Kingdoms. They took a good game and expanded on its playability to make something that was really fun even better (New units, new tribe, new maps, continued storyline, etc etc). ...basically if you liked the original you MUST like the expansion because "The Iron Plague" is nothing more than "Kingdoms" biggie sized!

If you like the original Kingdoms, I highly recommend getting the Iron Plagues expansion pack. Play online at GameSpy. This game is comparable to Starcraft with a Medievil twist. Lots of dragons, Monarchs, Knights. A big, giant, real time strategy chess game! Numerous sites offer third party maps, game enhancments and even new races. Lots of possibilites with this game and the fan base is very deep.

I am still playing total annihilation the original to this day. And I was very excited when I heard that Cavedog was making another RTS. And the excitement stayed, right up until I purchased and played the game. Micromanagement was essential if you didn't want your line of troops to get destroyed while on the move, they refused to defend themselves and took incredibly long routes to get to their destination if not watched the entire time. Rating: - The expansion pack is very good.
This expansion pack probably made TA: Kingdoms better. This expansion pack has a better story and a new faction that is pretty cool. With alot of new maps, units, scenarios, and a free on-line game mission, this is a great deal. The only problem is this is still a slower paced game in the line of the Command & Conquer series.
